I know a few people here who have bought or sold a Coupe from them. I was kinda surprised to hear it. So that made me think...who else has dealt with them? What do you think?
He's your typical used car dealer posing as an "enthusiast" so he can make money in a niche market. Granted, he comes off as a friendly, personable, and knowledgeable guy, but the bottom line is that he has his own best interest at heart. He buys as low as he can then he'll say whatever it takes to make a sale.
As with any transaction, the more knowledge you have up front the better you are able decide whether or not he's giving you a good deal. Two words should some it up: BE CAREFUL!
Weren't they selling the TC Kline Carbon Coupe?

Seems like I have only heard bad things.
I posted about a E36 that I was going to buy that was originally sold to that owner from EA. Man people went on and on about bad experiences.

I live in Cincinnati and have never been to the facility based on what I hear, for either sales or maintenance. Not fair?, maybe, but word of mouth is powerful stuff. Didn't someone on here just buy a black M Coupe from them? I saw the car running around all summer long.
I guess it's worth it if you have to have an exact color/pkg combo and don't mind paying retail. I'll bet these are the same kind of guys that will lowball YOUR car to death if you are selling to them, which makes them just another used car dealer with an enthusiast bent like someone else said.
IIRC the woman I bought my Coupe from ( Renee M Coupe on these boards ) bought a E30 M3 with a S52 swap from them after selling her coupe to me. I know she visits here from time to time still, so maybe she will post something about them first hand.
Previous car
Euro S50B32 swap, Swain Tech cermamic coated euro SS replica headers, custom subframe/diff mount reinforcement, 3.46 diff, TcKline S/A coilovers, 18inch BBS CH's. Gen 1 Projector Z's with HID's and angel eyes
Don't do it!!
If you can't be a good example, be a horrible warning.
Was this in reference to the TCK carbon coupe?
You guys are aware that this car has been completely re-bodied in custom one-off carbon fiber panels, right? They priced it at $95K new. Expensive, admittedly, but at least I can see where the money went.
try this guy - http://www.musclegarage.com - no affiliation and don't let the muscle car theme fool you, he moves everything sporty, european, etc - The reason I say to ask him is he thought my car was worth a small fortune and wanted to take it off my hands the week after I bought it.
Yeah - carbon panels or not, the car is ugly as sin..

You like white cars? Ok, so, in 2006 BMW made a white M coupe, one of 200 or 300 I beleive that had this special treatment.. So the car was for sale, totally hooked up with super low miles out in CA. I desperately tried to contact the seller only to find out I missed the sale by one day.. I wanted the car so bad even though I had my heart set on an all blacked out version.. This is the only photo I can find of this factory option..
If you are talking about the S54 M-coupe(cosmos black).
That went to a local guy to me, two weeks ago I was working / out for a test drive in my Jeep Rubicon and I spotted familiar taillights in the distance.
I assumed it was a roadster, when he hits his brakes the 3rd brake light made me excited.
I flashed my lights & waved him over, We had a nice conversation & he knew who I was right away as the guy with the Alpine white coupe.
Very nice guy!
He's supposed to stop by soon for a little coupe talk and to show him some of my improvements to my coupe.

1999 M-Coupe Alpine White/Evergreen 1of1(SOLD)
2000 323IT 5-sp wagon, Alpine White
2004 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited (AEV HIGHLINE)(SOLD)
Very cool, it certainly is a small (Coupe) world. I wonder if he was the guy that waved to me (S54 Steel Gray Coupe) while driving opposite directions on I 275 late this summer.
There was a 99 coupe in the Autotrader for awhile (by an individual) that appeared to be sold a couple of weeks ago that has now appeared on Enthusiast Auto for a $3000 price increase. Great way of doing business.
Looks like a solid car, no sunroof, with sensible mods. Assuming 10-15% wiggle room for negotiation if the car languishes for a few weeks, a decent value too.

Like my post above, that seems to be all they do. Buy cheaper cars, jack up the price, resell them.
So this is silver05sti's car?
Kelvin
i haven't dealt with them personally, but heard that they go over their cars more than the average dealer (which may not be saying anything at all). they do move a fair amount of e30 m3's at some serious coin...so maybe they aren't all that bad?![]()
My Coupe is from there...
When I decided I wanted one they had a 30k something mile estoril car on the webpage so I called up and it was sold. I went over anyways and test drove a black S52 that was super clean. Found an estoril car in CA had it all lined up and the guy sold it the day before my PPI for asking (23k) - decided to pickup the black/black with 54k - not my first color choice but it had a great history - paid too much? Yup - especially since the bottom dropped out of the market a few months later. Oh well - its been a great car. Not selling so it doesnt matter.
They are enthusiasts, Ive seen them at track events which are really the only "events" I attend. But they also live off this business - they have to make money to keep the inventory they do. I can understand why some people wouldnt agree with what they ask. Remember a car is worth what someone will pay - not the asking price.
