Yep, a Z3 hood that has been modified/flared so you can fit larger front wheels/tires. I don't see any problems running a 9.5 or 10" wide wheel with 275mm or even 285mm front tires with these flares. In the pics the car has 10.5 wheels with 285 tires.
This hood of course has been repainted when the work was done (by previous owner) but it is in near perfect shape. 9.5/10
First off, no I will not ship this. Don't even ask
I'm willing to meet someone within a 300 mile radius of the DFW area for an extra charge. Free to pick-up of course.
Hood does not include the front emblem or grill inserts but does include the windshield washer parts and underhood mat.
Asking $1000!!! Make me an offer...
BTW, the front bumper cover and rear portion of the front fenders have been cut to fit 305 front tires so that's why the hood looks wider. I'm replacing this hood with a carbon fiber one.

We did purchase a OEM Z3 hood and molded a couple style hoods. Pictures on the site are from the actual customer. Let us know what you think. Product has been test fitted with no concerns. Check out Devil Did it Custom website to see BMW Z3 Carbon fiber hoods. It doesn't let me post the link.

Thanks, we are doing a lot of carbon products, any suggestions?
I don't think you guys make those hoods. I've seen the pictures you use for the CF hood on several other sites.
Ya I've seen those hoods many places, but forget the primary manufacturer.

The hood is ours, we had to water mark our photos because they have been getting copied. We pay our customers money to send pictures and feedback about the products. One of the actual customers was from this forum.

RevoZport thats the one of the ones in Hong Kong who took pictures from our site.

Wow, this is an old bump(the hood is sold btw). Glad to see another vendor supporting the Z3 as there really is little to none most of the time unless it translates over to the E36.
On a side note, I now have my TC Kline carbon fiber hood installed. It's flared for my 18x10.5 front wheels with 285s and painted. It came out great but did take a bit of body work to get it acceptable for paint.
Ended up flaring it with thin sheet metal, riveted to the hood plus blended. I continued the same flare circumference on the lower front fender as well. Overall I'm very happy how it came out and the front track width now really mirrors the rear giving you a bit of that Coke bottle look.
If I was to offer a suggestion to Team Devil, it would be to offer an option for a slight flare on their hood. Being able to run more tire up front is very helpful when these cars are set up for track/autox. There's plenty of room in the back but BMW really hampered the car with such a small front fenderwell.

Good suggestion. We will try to make it happen within the next 6 months. BTW your car looks slick. Do you think its worth doing bumpers, doors or anything else on the Z3?

If you are interested in doing a flared hood, you should look at offering the matching flared front lower fender as well as possible extensions for the front bumper. Rear trunk would be an option as well. NO ONE makes anything like that for this car and I think there's a market for it. Use a 18x10 wheel with 285s as your model to go off of. That way you cater to the racer and not just the tuner crowd. Being able to run 18x10s/285 all the way around on these cars would be THE set-up. Of course I'm a bit bigger but I have a V8 as well.![]()
