I started a new thread to better reflect the GB in the title.
HIOP header GB...so far I have prices from one vendor. Here they are:
$650 for 1-5 orders, $635 for 6 or more.
Please let me know if interested by replying to this thread....I will keep you all updated. Tim

2008 E90 M3 on order -- week 23 build -- DCT and 19's!
I thought I just posted about this?
Anyway, I'm interested in another set for my cousin't M3.
Count me in...
when's the end date for this GB, or is there one???
If you can get this GB to solidify pretty soon, I will almost definitely participate. Thats a smoking deal.
Right now I am securing pricing and shipping costs. To date, it is a $20 flat rate to anywhere in the continental US. So, the GB price, plus $20.
They prefer one lump sum payment, so all cash would go through me...if ya trust me...LOL! You can....
No end date yet...I am just securing pricing and details before we "start" this...right now I am just taking a head count for interested parties.
So far we have myself, and maybe two others. 3 more and we get a better deal.
I tried to have a friend post this on Roadfly, but they deleted it! That is part of the reason I left...if ya got nothing good to say about Roadfly, they dellete your posts! LOL. Losers.
I will keep you posted. I am expecting another bid from another vendor, and HIOP themselves shortly. I will post the quotes as they come in. So far, the only quote I have is in the first post of this thread.
More to follow! Tim

Are they bolt-on to my AA track pipe right? (same as OEM cats)
no modification required right? I am in for sure if they will fit. let me know plz.
AFAIK, they bolt directly to the stock cats. Being as the crack pipe bolts to the stock heads, it should fit without a problem...just like stock.
Status update....
One of the other potential vendors emailed me and stated that he should be hearing from Germany today.
My intent is to start this group buy FRIDAY...the price we have now is outstanding...so even if the others fall short, we have excellent pricing.
I, as always, will let you know as soon as I hear from the other two vendors. Tim

Not sure what you are talking about. These have two O2 sensor ports and factory flanges to connect to your stock cat pipe (or crack pipe too). I have inquired if they are plug and play, and if anything special is required to install on OBD II cars...I will advise when I receive a reply. The vendor is contacting HIOP as we speak, well, as I type...Tim

I'm talking about the air injection port. I think it was eclou who installed them but got Check Engine lights because he couldn't hook up the air injection. Had to remove the headers, have them milled, then reinstall.

Ok, just got off the phone with HIOP north america.
The headers are lacking the air injection port, or ports, whatever the case may be. Thus, one must drill a hole(s) into it and attach a bung for the injection pump to work properly...and thus, not set MIL's. Please check the thread metioned about for more specific info about that....I could really care les on my car, but to each his own! Thread is: http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/sh...t=hiop+headers
On 95's they should be plug and play as there is no air injection.
So that is the scoop. They will require a little "machining" on OBD II cars with air injection pumps (came on all of them "stock"). I ain't trippin' on it cause I know a few mechanics, besides, I doubt the MIL will cause anything more than just the light. Air injection is not a critical motor function, so it shouldn't effect the operation of it....to each his own! If this is too scary for ya, don't get them! LOL
Here is how the Group Buy will work:
You will call ROB at 281-412-3443 or toll free at 1-866-799-3984. Rob is with European Parts Network http://www.europartsnet.com
Tell Rob you are from the Bimmerforum Group Buy for the HIOP headers. He will take your payment info, email addy, and shipping addy and give you a shipping rate (will vary by location).
Rob will update all of those who called in with e-mails, letting you know what price bracket we are in when they change. At the close of the Group Buy, which will be April 28, close of business, he will confirm your order with each of you via email, and then charge you for whatever price bracket we are in + YOUR specific shipping charge.
Sound good?
So, GB is now open...give Rob a call! Tim

Specifically, you'll need this hole and the channels leading from it (this was attached to the thread listed above):
CE light doesn't bother me so much as not passing inspection because of it.
