Is there anywhere I can order either xenon or HID bulbs for my foglights. I have HID's for my headlights and they are kind of a purple color and the stock foglights are like a yellow so it looks horrible. You can email me at sosodef134@aol.com Thanks in advance.
you might want to consider JimP's H7 Foglight conversion

Did you also know that the most lumens (which is the light projected) is produced at 4500K...
Did you also know that the highest rating for an HID bulb is 6500K. Anything higher than that is pure marketing. If you can find a Phillips or Osram HID bulb with a color higher than 6500K I'd love to see it. It just doesn't exist.

Duh. Of course you can get higher kelvin than 6000K, it just won't be a bulb produced by Philips or Osram. Lots of kits have coated bulbs or even just different blends of gases that make 7000K or even 8000 kelvin light.
Can you see by it? no. Does it reduce contrast? yes. Does it exist? yes it does.
Yep. HID's like that definitely exist. I have a friend with 9000k(!) HIDs and its a pure purple (did I mention the light output sucks?)
i have a H.I.D. 7500k bohmen kit... its nice but more on the blue/green side...but bright as hell! ... i love it!

Looking at the different levels and light curves then coating a bulb that color doesn't make it a REAL 7000K bulb.
Here's some food for thought...

Yeah its way cool to show light purple, and deep blue, but isn't the whole purpose of having HID lighting to have a better visibility of the road ahead of you? I mean why invest so much money in an HID retrofit kit if you are planning to degrade the lighting performance? Wouldn't it be just more feasable to get some blue colored halogen bulbs and put the other $500-$600+ in more useful places?

Greco, you're crapping on Mkit's thread. Thats not cool. If you don't like 7000k HIDs then don't buy them. If you don't think they exist, then they don't. But if people like the color, then its their perogative.
I've seen 7000k HID fogs before and they are dman bright. It is true that 4300k is way brighter, but 7000k is still putting out ~2500 lumens, which is more than even your high beams can put out. You can't go wrong.
