    When did Nowack start offering superchargers for the M5?

    Show us some pictures.

    Oh, yeah, welcome to bimmerforums.

    Welcome to bf.c...

    Now...

    Before I (or somebody else) raise the BS flag...

    I was curious about that Nowack blower of yours...

    You list your car as an IN500 M5... yet, on Nowack's own site, they list the car as an N500. No «I» there...

    Also, the N500 M5 has 503 hp. Since the stock one has 400 or so, my guess is that a blower would take it closer to the 600hp mark, meaning that they achieve the 500 hp figure by staying N/A.

    Furthermore, a google search for «Nowack and Kompressor» turned out nothing of interest for the M5 (or any bimmer, for that matter).

    And last but not least, I don't know if the McLaren can really reach 400km/h (just because its speedometer goes up to 400 doesn't mean it can reach it), but I seriously doubt that an M5, even with 500 hp, could reach 345 km/h, not with its aerodynamics and gearing.

    Some things just don't add up here. :

    Now, of course, if you post a pic of yourself, in front of the open hood of your M5 (so that we can see the Nowack blower), holding a sign saying «Hugo I own you», I will believe. And don't say you don't have a digicam. If you got the cars you got, a digicam is pocket change.

    So until I see the pics, I have to doubt your story, your cars and everything in between.

    And if I'm wrong, I'll change my sig for a week and it will say «I will not doubt newbies anymore.»

    Fair enough?

    Cheekach ---

    There is an M5 Meet and Canyon Carving Cruise in Malibu on January 25th. Why don't you bring your Nowack M5 along? Or better yet, your F1? Everyone would appreciate seeing these cars and there will be lots of pics and video.

    If you need another driver, let me know! :12:

    1. I haven't;
    2. This is still 9km/h short of 400;
    3. This still doesn't prove that his M5 can reach 345;

    This may be a dumb question with all the other questions being raised, but what is "PJ" Viper?

    Ok that link does show that there's an IN500,
    BUT there is no blower involved,
    Specifications

    Horsepower@rpm 503@7700 Torque lb-ft@rpm 465@3400

    Interesting, Matt...

    From Nowack's own site, the M5 is called N500, on the front page... : :
