New guy here. Been lurking on these forums...so much great info. Here's my question: Just bought my first BMW (2015 328D xDrive wagon with 17" wheels). Love the car so far and am getting interested in making upgrades (looks like a slippery slope.) Was thinking of adding some 19" wheels as a starting point, but am finding the staggered wheels / offsets / tire widths a bit confusing.

Found a set of used wheels on CL (description: Style 230, original staggered BMW rims made by BBS. They came off a e92 335i and the specs are: 19 x 8 et 39 (front), 19 x 9 et 37 (rear)). Will they fit my car?

Thanks in advance for any answers!

Go here and check, http://www.willtheyfit.com/ If you need shims you can get them anywhere, just make sure that if you need shims wider than 5mm you get concentric shims so that you don't loose your hub centrics.

    E85,
Hi, new to the forum but hopefully I could get a reply on this.

Going to buy an 2010 E87 today and wanting to put a set of 3SDM 0.06 on them. I've seen a set for sale but wondering if they will fit, I think it would be a squeeze - if possible at all...

    3SDM 0.06
    Tyre Size - 225/40/R18 -
    Fronts - 8.5J et 35 & Rears - 9.5J et40

    2011 320i Convertible M
Hello everyone, first post here for me.

I have a 2011 BMW 320i convertible with the M package. I have replaced the original bridgestone run flat 225/35/R19 front - 255/30/R19 rear, with a set of regular (non run flat) Altenzo 235/35 ZR19 93W XL front - 265/30 ZR19 93W XL rear that were suggested by the garage I normally have my car serviced. I have been driving it a while and it feels good, even with intense rain it was ok.
First I wanted to ask what do you think about the size, if you think is a good fit.
Second I was wondering what do you think the right pressure should be, considering is generally just me in the car and here is super hot.
    Thanks!

Not sure if this thread is still active or not but ...

    Need tire sizes.

    1994 BMW 325i Convertible
Coilovers coming next week. planning a mild drop.
    planning on rolling fenders
    Needs to be daily driveable
    Style 161's
    17x8 et 34 front
    17x8.5 et 37 rear

Would like tires that look nice, and solid size for DD. This is not a crazy camber car, or a stanceworks deal. Just a clean daily.

    2003 325i E46.
    Style 162 (18x8 et35 front, 18x8.5 et37 rear).
General consensus says 225/40/18. Buddy who was lowered with rolled fenders and spacers rubbed with 225/40 with people in the car. He says I should get 225/35. I don't want the lowered load rating (87 vs 92) and super low profile, but if that means I won't rub, I may have to go that route.

    Thoughts/experiences?

What tire would you suggest, mid level, all season, non run flat, for a staggered 18 inch rims on a Z4, to be purchased from my local tire rack.

First thing you need to know is what ET your stock wheels are, then find out what the ET, (offset) the wheels are you want to use, then go to http://www.willtheyfit.com. I have 467 M3 rims on our E64 with spacers and I love them.

Ok the problem is the wheels fitted are not stock, they are 19s and rubbing on the arches hence the reason I want to change

I'm led to believe looking at a set of Z4 wheels they are 8J front and 8.5J rear ?

Start at realoem.com to see what the stock ET wheel size were then go from there.
Are there any shims on your setup now?

Well the wheels I want to buy are 8J et 34 and 8.5J et47, the stock rims should be et47 and et50 according to realoem.com so I'm not sure if they will fit or not or if I need spacers ? Any idea? Thanks in advance

2004 E46 325i with sport suspension, lowered on HR springs and rolled rear fenders. Will following set-up work : fr. 8.5 x 19 et38 / rr. 9.5x19 et44...fr.235/35/19 - rr. 255/35/19. If I have to, I'll reinstall stock springs to give me a tad more room. Thanks in advance.

Hey all, I'm new to BF & BMW's in general and kinda overwhelmed on where to look for info.

My GF picked up a 2014 F10 - 528i xDrive yada yada. It has an msport package with 18" wheels.....and I need to know if I can fit 17's for winter wheels. I see on a few sites that 17x8's DO fit, but I'm either retarded (most likely) or merely having difficulty finding anything definitive as if there's a difference in the stock setups using the 17" vs 18" wheels.

Ideally I'm looking for OEM 17x8 F10 wheels for the winters.

    Thanks.

Here is the TireRack recommended winter package if your vehicle came with non-staggered fitment:https://www.tirerack.com/snow/Winter...r+03%2F01%2F14

Looking at E61 535xi wagons and my question is: do I have to lower the car to put 19" wheels on it? If that works, does anyone have pics of a non-lowered 535 wagon with 19" wheels they can share?
