Had some precipitation get into my driver's side headlight and it ended up killing the whole light(had low beam and adaptative headlight malfunctions on the dash, low beam and drl's were also out). I've replaced the adaptive headlight module, ballast and bulb. Everything seems to be working fine now except my driver's side high beam isn't coming on. I can hear the passenger side shutter moving but not the driver's side. I'm also not getting any malfunctions on the dash any longer. TIA
it could be an issue with the high beam mechanism itself, possibly the actuator or the connection to it. Since there are no malfunctions popping up on the dash anymore, it's likely a mechanical rather than an electronic issue.
This issue is still going on. There was some incorrect info in the first post DRL still isn’t working on the driver side. Now headlight has also been replaced and still the high beam shudder isn’t activating. I saw something about the FEM but wouldn’t that cause both high beams not to work? And is there a relay or fuse that I should check. I feel like all of the fuses have been but I can go look again. TIA
