    Help diagnosing INPA fault codes?

    Hi there,

I've scanned my E60 and have a slew of codes -- not sure what they mean, and what the fixes should be.

    SIM/SGM module:
    93CC Airbag sensor, B-pillar, left (Y-direction)
    93CD Airbag sensor, B-pillar, right (Y-direction)

I'm assuming these have to do with my passenger restraint malfunction (and light) that I need to fix.

    DME/DDE:
    299B - IBS Sensor
    27A0
    281E Variable Air Intake: Activation
    2774 - Engine cutoff time

AFS: -- these are weird because I don't have any active steering lights on
6140 Motor position angle not initialised (active steering)
6145 6145 No monitoring of angle sum relation
    614A
    CE93

    DSC:
5F12 Front axle brake pads (i think I fixed this already)
5F13 Rear axle brake pads --- these won't reset -- even after a new sensor. Any thoughts?
    5F62

    DWA:
9D00 Communication fault with siren / DWA bus

    KLIMA:
    E714
    9C54 - Battery voltage?

    SBSR:
95BA Seat occupancy detector, passenger: not released -- what does it mean as "not released"?

Is there a resource I can look at that explains these fault codes/fixes?

Ok you've pulled the codes and recorded them. Now you need to clear all the codes and drive the car for a day or two and pull the codes again. Problem is you don't know what is a active code or a code hanging around for a period of time. BMW is great about capturing information. However in your case as a new owner you don't know when the system was last cleared to obtain a currant picture.

That is awesome. Thank you for this. I will ensure the codes are cleared, and then report back in a few days.
