34mm offset on e60? ie: 3 series wheels

    Hi there,

I'm looking to prep an e60 for sale. It currently has 16" winter wheels but I'd like to get 17" wheels that are OEM bmw -- to spruce the car up a bit...

Finding 5 series 5x120 wheels with the proper offset (20mm) is proving tough or costly (over my budget).

There are plenty of 34mm offset BMW wheels that are period correct that I'm interested in.

Will these wheels fit without spacers on the E60? Will it look stupidly sunken into the wheel wells?

    Any pictures?

    Thanks in advance,

    JP

You can buy spacers and longer bolts to move the wheels outboard. ET34 with a 15mm spacer is like ET19 which is so close to stock if stock is ET20 that you would never know the difference. See what spacers cost. Maybe the savings would be eaten up. Huge wheel well gaps don't look good in my opinion.
