I'm thinking of buying a X5 that had the ccv valve freeze thus putting oil into the cylinders and hydro locking the engine. My only concern is if the rods would bend under these conditions. The seller says he was coasting into his driveway when it happened. He also tried to start it when locked up. Is it likely much damage occurred or should it be fine if I got all the oil out? It has 202k miles too, don't know if rods weaken over time...
Its got the looks but not the power
I wouldn't take risks although I'm very risky!

E36 328i Sport ( Project in making and future race/track car )
But it's so cheap, the risk must be worth it?!

Go in with the thought of putting another motor in it, and you will be fine.
