260/5 trans for sale ready to run 650 shipped

    PRICE DROP TO $500 shipped

Hey guys long time no post. I guess I better start throwing this guy up everywhere. This trans was run in my six in my sig for around 15k miles. Ive had numerous drivetrains in it and am going to an m30 out of a 90 735 so Ill be using my 265 with an early bellhousing... not that that matters ha.

Anyway, this guy shifts great doesnt whine or leak. Ill ship it dry so youll need to get some fluid but when I installed it I just ran redline mtl in it.

for those who dont want to do the research elsewhere this was stock for 83-84 5 and 6 series but is interchangable with our cars up to 88 (until they when to the 260/6) and easily swappable to a car that was factory four speed if you have the driveshaft (which ive got as well).

Seems spendy considering that is the asking price for a g265 (the desirable trans)...

Understandable, I priced it there because I've gotten 850 for 265s many times. Consideringshipping is around $90, how much do you think it's worth?

Not a lot of people are looking for them but I imagine $400 local or $500 shipped. Mainly for convenience of someone local or somebody not having luck otherwise.

Unfortunately the 260/5 is known as a weak transmission (the one in my 633 had a bad 3rd gear) but I do think there are plenty out there going strong.

What you have going is that a lot of people do the manual swaps and you know this trans is good.
