I have a e36 320i m50tub20 its with one vanos.....problem is that when car is cold it drives normal but after 1.5 km probably when automatic choke turns off the car doesnt drive well. Its choking when pressing the gas the most on the full gas...its choking and after one second it recieves gas and pulls....also the car los a little bit of power....also the car hardly gets from 6000 rpm to 7000 when driving but in neutral gear is fine......also when i press the gas rarely i feel some kind of crack on the gas pedal.....i dont know what to do.....could it be o2 sensor...cam sensor...vanos...gas pum...i dont know..please help........sorry if my english is bad

Welcome to the Forum!
Well I would think that you have a vacuum leak. Take a look at the big black rubber tube and ensure it doesn't have any crack, splits, ect. Next anything attached to that tube has to be checked as well, so follow the smaller rubber hoses to ensure they are not cracked/split either.

I didnt checked the vacuum because i didnt tought that is problem because car drives normally when cold but after 3 minutes of driving it starts choking when i press the gas pedal...
I will check and reply....can you tell me , wich rubber tube are you talkin about and do you know how many vacuum hoses have e36 320i

What you need to look at is #3, #8, and #9. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=13_1710
The reason why it runs just fine cold is because you have a set fuel map. It's when the car get warm and the DME starts looking at what the MAF, Oxygen sensors and MAP is reporting that is where the extra air is throwing off the motor.

Ok thank you very much...i have already checked the rubber #3 it was old and a bit cracked but i fixed it and it was the same thing happening....towmorrow i will check the other rubbers and report....thanks

I am going to guess that you replaced the intake boot, and not just put some tape on it. All 3 items will run you around 40 euros, and if they are all good, then you have to look at the CCV system, for there can be other vacuum leaks.

I checked all of the vacuums and there was no leak....also i cleaned icv..
But engine is workin worse than before its knocking and a little bit shaking i dont know what is the problem now and what to do i will post a video so you can see
