    dash cam hard wire

hey everyone new to the forum looking for a bit of advise. just recently changed car had a e89 but needed more seats so changed it for a 2015 f30. i have bought a next base dash cam because the 2 sockets in the car are permanently live and i am worried i will forget to unplug it and run the battery flat i have bought a hard wire kit. just wanted to to know if anyone has fitted one to the fuse box the instructions sound easy it has a fuse tap and recommends fitting to the rear heated window fuse. i am a bit of a novice when it comes to electrics the instructions sound easy. would be grateful for any advise or tips or anything you think i should do before i attempt it cheers

    Hi,

My suggestion would be to find a local reputable car electrics installer and have them wire it in both correctly and safely for you. Although it 'sounds' easy, inexperience and knowledge about car electrics can be dangerous if you inadvertently get things wrong.

    Cheers, Dennis!
