Hi All,
I'm repairing the leak from my oil filter housing this weekend and need some confirmation since all the DIY videos has the oil cooler with the heat exchanger. My vehicle is a 2011 535i (production date 08/2010) so my oil cooler seems to be a little different and does not have the heat exchanger. In fact, I believe the later production model of the 535i even using a different thermostat housing, but I'm not completely sure.
Q#1-Can someone confirm that the top bolt shown in the picture below (with the red arrow) is to remove the oil cooler lines? All the other DIY videos I have come across has a bolt on the bottom of the oil cooler to remove the oil hose lines.
Q#2-What are the two torx screws (with the green arrow) for? I believe I do not need to remove these torx screws but can someone confirm?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes, that bolt will remove the oil cooler lines. On your particular vehicle, I wouldn't even remove the lines unless they block access to the three bolts holding the thermostat to the oil filter housing.
Don't even touch the two torx screws with the green arrow.

Thanks for confirming the bolts!
Can you also confirm the torque on the intake manifold for the F10 is 11 ft lbs? Do you know the torque specs for the oil filter housing and the oil filter cooler as well?
I noticed this o ring and other plastic like seal came off of the coolant hose, but I can seem to get it back inside to put the hose back into the oil filter cooler.
Can someone give me some advice on how these two seals go back into the coolant hose?
Thanks in advance!

I want to clarify that the plastic like seal fits inside the coolant hose with no problem.
It is the o ring that seems to not fit me inside the coolant hose.
Im almost done so any response would be helpful!
