    e36 HID issue

All of a sudden my HID's aren't working anymore. Before my passenger side stopped working so I took the bulb from the passenger side and put it into the driver side to see if it was the ballast or bulb problem. The bulb lit up, so I assumed it was the ballast. Ordered new ballast, when I changed the ballast out, BOOM both side aren't working anymore. I thought maybe it was because I don't have a HID relay. Ordered one, installed it, and it is still not working. I've looked at the fuses, they are all good. Even changed the fuse to 15A thinking it would help, still no dice. Pls help!

Grab a voltmeter and make sure you have 12V in the chain. Start at the headlight and work your way to the headlight switch.
