My e39 has about 97k and i just recently replaced the front sway bar links and bushings with meyle hd parts. I also have front upper/lower control arms (meyle hd), and front inner/outer tie rods (lemfoerder) i will be doing before christmas. I was planning to purchase bilstein sport struts and shocks soon to do them at the same time (especially since I'm running on original bmw ones), and would appreciate any suggestions. I wanted to lower the car slightly as I think it creates a more aggressive look.
If I went with bilstein sport shocks & struts, what springs would be best?
Update -> 20% tint all around 11/22

Eibach or H&R>http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/S...=Sport+Package
You have several good options, but I would go with Eibach Prokit springs and Bilstein B8 Sport struts/shocks. Pic below. Glad to answer any questions you may have.
Best regards, Chris

I think this is exactly what I am looking for. Do you sell the mounts as well?

The Koni Sports will ride far better than the Bilsteins on the E39.
Bilstein just can't get the rebound correct on the E39.
Looking for an E39 belly pan , passenger front inner fender liner …
