I got the 3 typical ABS lights on the dash that are normally associated with a faulty wheel speed sensor. My diagnostic scanner indicated a left wheel speed sensor plausibility error. I purchased a Bosch replacement sensor and once installed now received a rotation error. I swapped the sensors from the left to the right, the problem followed. This is my second sensor with the same issue. Any ideas
Welcome to the forum.
How did you order your sensor, and from whom?
You should got to
realoem.com
enter the last seven digits of your VIN.
Then research the part.
You might well have some date-specific, or, perhaps, "sport package" specific sensor.
For instance, perhaps a car manufactured 2 months prior (or after) yours used a different wheel bearing / sensor wheel...or had a different tire diameter.
With a good diagnostic scanner, you can watch live data for the four different sensors, and see what's going on
Mt guess would be that you bought the wrong sensor, from the wrong company, unless you bought from a BMW specialist supplier.
