Swap 08 M5 M Seat

hello there, how are you.....maybe someone can help me , I want to swap my old seat to M5 seat......they both have the same connection, I have 2004 530i and I got great deal 08 M seat good great condition..........when I plug it in , I notice my idrive start to act up, idrive start blinking or screen doesn't come up....I did cic retrofit and everything was working, so I decide to unplug the seats and see what happened , the radio came back up .......am thinking something with the connection PIN need to be move.....everything work...all the function...plz if anyone did this swap or can help me.......plz email me or leave me MSG...trying to look for 08 m5 seat wire diagram and 2004 530i to compare them

Hi,

You'll need to post this into the E60 section as it's nothing to do with car audio and associated electronics.

I think you might find that you'll need to code in some aspects if possible - some M5 seats have the active side bolsters etc. I think there's threads where other's have swapped in an M5 interior so do a search for those and read up on aspects needed.
