I have a 2005 BMW x3 3.0. When I am turning at slower speeds, such as in a parking lot or when pulling out into traffic, one of the rear tires locks, clanks, and sticks. Then its totally fine when I straighten out the vehicle and drive. There are no grinding or strange sounds when going down the road. This only happens when I turn to the right. I have a 4x4 light on. Cruising down the highway or going straight is perfectly smooth.
This also seemed to happen after I bought 4 new tires from tires plus. Also, the tire on the side this happens does have a minor leak so its often down significantly in PSI but I usually refill it before it gets too far.
So far possibilities include the deflation issue, but it keeps happening even if tires are fully inflated. Maybe the tire wore differently and is somehow causing this. The lugs arent loose. Could it be the differential, axle, parking brake, or bearing? No idea and could use the help, cant afford the shop right now.
