I have removed the drivers side ( LHS ) headlight assembly from the car and all head lights work. I now find that the yellow/ green power input is dead, and the RHS yellow blue is at 12V. I think this means the fuse is OK..it looked when I checked it. So it looks like the switch is faulty....tempted to run a like from the yellow blue over to the yellow green. Not at all interested in getting into the switch.Any comments!!??

Dimitry, Pelicans technical write up shows me how to do what i have already done. My driver's headlight unit works fine on the bench when powered by temporary wires to a 12V car battery! The yellow green wire is the power feed on the drivers side and it is dead, so i think there is a problem in the head lamp switch. To remove the switch is simple enough , but I have not seen anything indicating that it can be cleaned.I sense that there may be codings involved re the odometer, and I wonder if you can shed some light on that!? In the mean time I have installed a feed line from the yellow blue lamp power on the pass side over to the drivers side plug, and all lamps now work as required. This is most likely a temporary fix, until i get more info on the switch !?
