330i vs 330i sport 2002 -2005

What's an indicator that it is the sports (ZHP) version and not the regular version? I'm looking from 2002 to 2005. I see some ads saying the car is sport while others look like the sports version but don't list it. I just would like to know how to spot the difference.

Is sports different from performance package?

Also is there two different sports looks like and is the white car a sports version?

Best way to tell if its a ZHP is the VIN, failing that the interior would usually be the most telling, but all the ZHP cosmetic details can be easly copied onto other E46's and this is very often done. As such, cosmetic differences are not a reliabile indicator of if a car is a ZHP or not. The middle one is the only one with the ZHP bumper though

ZHP was also a special sports package, E46s come in standard, sports, and ZHP - not all sport packages are ZHP's. ZHP's were only available in sedans from 03-05 and coupes from 04-06. The standard sports package gives a slightly different suspension setup - struts/springs afaik, as well as some minor cosmetic differences but the same engine as the non-sports variants. ZHP's featured a notable difference as they had not only a different and more aggressive suspension setup, but also had upgraded camshafts and a different engine tune which gave the car more horsepower. It also came with wheels unique to the ZHP.

Will the vin number in car fax say it's sports, ZHP, premium etc?

Sorry to all the questions but it's confusing.

What's the difference between
sports package
Premium package
And performance package

Is performance package the same as ZHP since I see both listed in ads together.
