Hey all,
As the title suggest. The X3 has developed a parasitic drain now that it gets driven less (Possibly a long term issue but only noticed now)
Did the usual, after 16minutes it sits around 148-158mA drain. (BMW Spec closed circuit current consistency is meant to be around 40mA for an X3)
Pulled the stereo/bluetooth/gps/amplifier 30A fuse & 5A, didn't change.
Pulled the Panoramic sunroof fuse, still didn't change.
Ran out of light for the evening and decided to give up for the night.
It doesn't have the Fuse panel diagram and I read the 2007 has a different diagram to the 2004? Which is available everywhere I google. So if someone has one of those available I'd greatly appreciate it.
I've got a few days before I get to play with her again unfortunately so if anyone has any ideas I'd greatly appreciate it.
Cheers
Mat

She is completely standard, I was afraid the suggestion of keep pulling fusing haha
I guess I'll get onto that when I have a chance in a couple of days and I'll report back.

edit:
Fuses pulled & tested
7, 41, 50, 62, 63. None of them have made a difference, did some more reading will disconnect the AUX heater in the engine compartment tomorrow and test again.

Fuse# 46. Panoramic Sunroof 61359146244
Battery drain / draw went from a fluctuating 120-180mA (Over the span of monitored 6hours) to an instant 37-42mA.
Sunroof works flawlessly, all directions, all features, re-initialized it by holding it up and let it completely cycle etc.
However that sucker, fuse #46 was the drain causing it which is ONLY that module according to BMW WDS.
So go figure... At least it's solved and other people might get some help from this.

I would check for water intrusion, take down the light and switching center, you might even have to drop some of the headliner to find it. If you find evidence of water, clean the sunroof drains and replace the sunroof seals.
No water intrusion, vehicle always garaged & never parked near trees.
Replaced module with a used one and she is all good.
