How many think that Rosberg could become a world champion this year? Too early to say? He seems to have been pretty consistent so far. He's giving all his best too. Hamilton appears to be slipping back a bit.
While the top three teams are battling with each other, FI and Williams on the other hand are doing pretty good and are within one point or so of each other at every race. While Williams need to be better on strategy wise I think FI need just a little more speed and stay out of contact with others. I think FI have a great chance of beating Williams by the end of this season.

Sky Sports predicts Rosberg by 2:

I hope Williams can pull it together and stay ahead of FI. Driver-wise Bottas is on Perez and Hulk's level, but Massa really is just phoning it in. They won the pitstop award for the season; it's mathematically impossible for any other team to beat them at this point. Big kudos to the pit crew. While the top three teams are battling with each other, FI and Williams on the other hand are doing pretty good and are within one point or so of each other at every race. Pff ... 71% for Hamilton and 29% for Nico. I'm way off from my predictions.
Rosberg has mentally crushed Hamilton. He has psychologically had his way with Lewis, and finished on his face.
Am I doing this right?
BMWs are fun in the snow too...
You need to say "psy-cho-lo-gi-cally" a few more times with a Brundle candence.
Hammy is playing rope-a-dope, IMO. He can turn it back on any time he wants.
Have you guys seen the "Grill the Grid" series on YouTube? I watched them all and Rosberg's was far and away the most awkward. The guy takes himself WAY too seriously.

I don't think Hamilton's playing rope-a-dope, but he can definitely still bring it. Once he gets comfortable in his car again, and if they have some good launches, he'll be hard to beat. Really enjoying the battle though. Rosbergs been doing some phenominal qualifying and getting off to great starts.
What was Jock Clear trying to do when he walked up to the end of the pit lane?
KMag's car catching fire:

Now imagine this with the halo.

Double DNF for Merc just to make things interesting. Vettel wins and Kimi has a great fight with Alonso for P2 but the Ferrari prevails. Grosjean beats the RBs for P4.
I think it is funny how "pit lane fire marshals" just tote fire bottles around until the team needs one, then just hands it over.
And RBR tells Max, "Kvyat is faster than you."
I've just finished watching FP1 and 2. KMag's fire with a Halo wouldn't have been than much difference but...
imagine like PDR said:
The driver has a shunt and is unconscious. Then the marshal's have to get him out of the car (on fire) when there's a halo installed. The seat is built (as well as the harnesses) so that driver extraction is is the push of a button - releasing all straps etc - then the marshals can pull the seat (with the driver) out of the car. This would be virtually impossible with a halo in place.
My take on FP1 and 2: it's so very nice to see that some cars do well on the softs and others on the mediums/hards. It will make for brilliant racing due to the different strategies based on how their cars run on the various tires.
Oooh, I predict another clash between the Mercs... It's been a while.

Need a quick confirm if the race is live at 2am EST or at 3am?
3am. I'm about to watch live with the NYC F1 meetup.

Welp, tried to stay up late but couldn't so I missed the race.
Looks like a 1-2 RBR finish. Been a while to not see a Mercedes win.
Sucks to be Hamilton today, he had it in the bag. Might be Rosberg's year after all.
Came here expecting conspiracy after conspiracy... glad to see none.
That livens up the championship! Merc's still on easy mode to WCC though.
The conspiracies are all in Hammy's head.
My son was watching the race with me (he's turned into a regular F1 nut) and he was literally jumping for joy when the Merc's PU started pouring flames.
Any word yet on the cause of the failure? Turbo?
It was great to see Max hug Ric in parc ferme. Fantastic race for both of them.
Ric working the crowd before the "shoey" was awesome too.
Bummed for Seb. I'd actually blame that one on Rosberg; there was no reason for him to cut over as sharply as he did. He had the whole outside of the track.
Great race from Bottas too, helped by an enlightened strategy call.
More double points for McLaren.
All-in-all, a very enjoyable race.

What a race. Was raging at the start when Vettel crashed out though. When will it be Ferrari's turn for wins
I think john21 is a spammer...
Man I hope Nico keeps this up! I'm not a huge fan of his, but I like to see him come out on top after being wrecked the last few years.
