I have a 1994 BMW 325i convertible with 83,000 original miles. Since I bought this car it has been hard starting at times. It starts right up after sitting all night. It will start right up if it has been turned off for a few minutes. But if the car sits for about 15 minutes or more, it takes 2 to 3 tries to get it to fire up. Any ideas?
Sounds like a starter issue. Are you able to have the car plugged in and see what codes it throws back at you? I've also attached a tech article from our website on troubleshooting the starter system. I think this will greatly help you troubleshoot / fix the issue. Best of luck!
