When does it go to red?
If it's while standing still only, the fan clutch is likely your problem.
Note that the fan will always spin, also when the clutch is toast. It will just spin too slow when it needs to speed up.
Test if stuff is actually broken before replacing btw. You could also simply have air in the cooling system.
