    Birthday wishes for Fern Mora

    All:

    I wanted to let you know that our fearless leader Fern Mora is having a birthday tomorrow. Please take a minute and wish him Happy Birthday. Fern has been instrumental in the great success of SoCalEights and we really appreciate his efforts at fun, play and...fun. Fern, Gary and Taylor first met a few years ago and that's when the fun began.

    On behalf of 8 Series owners worldwide, we thank you for all you've done, and for all you do on behalf of our community. Each one of us bought a car and then realized we gained a family. I know you have owned your beautiful 1995 840 since June 1996 and organized local gatherings long before we officially formed SoCal8's. Many may not know you have made 88 modifications over the years and won more than 50 awards at car shows with your custom wide-body car. You then promoted our "Passion for Perfection" to another level with your extraordinary efforts publishing regular SoCal 8's Newsletters, Car of the Month articles featuring 8 Series owners and their cars from all over the world, and shipped logo merchandise you designed around the globe increasing our brand awareness. Amazing! If this was your job, we couldn't pay you enough. Your efforts are priceless!

    So, thank you Fern and Happy Birthday! I am especially grateful to count you among my best friends forever.

    Because of you and your efforts I am a proud member in addition to a board member of SoCal8's. I can say that when we met in 2011 you welcomed me to the group with open arms and it made my decision to be part of the initial creation of the most active BMW club in the USA!
    Because of Fern, I gained an exclusive 8 family with my fellow board members my 8 brothers. Also, your relentless efforts of creating several items for members worldwide, the newsletters, and my personal favorite the "Car of the Month" series (which I was picked by Fern to be featured?) can not be duplicated.

    I wish "El Presidente" a very happy birthday and I wish you nothing but the best on your day!
