Hey guys! So I have a quick question. I have an 05 325ci and one of my plate lights went out. Simple fix. I headed down to the local auto parts store found the correct bulbs and purchased them. Seeing as they didn't have any clear oem plate lights in stock I opted to buy some LED white plate lights.
However, when I returned home and installed them I got nothing. Checked the fuses and nothing was blown. So, to double check I replaced the only working plate light I had and it worked. Thus being, the LED doesn't work. Being nieve I headed back to the store and got a replacement set of the same bulbs (rookie mistake) again, the same issue. Any input?
Try flipping the LED bulb? Polarity could be wrong.
Well, that's actually a good start before removing all the bulbs. If the battery reset doesn't do anything, you're going to have to remove each bulb and find the cause of the bulb out message. It could be a faulty LED.
