Which to mod ? E30 vs E34

Hey guys !

I've been at a loss about what to do lately. I have an E30 M50 and an E34 525i (M50), and was planning on going turbo on the E30.
But now that I look at it, isn't the E34 the better car ? It feels supremely more stable and solid than the E30 even though it's on stock suspension vs the E30 on sport springs and dampers.
I also know that the E34 is only a little bit heavier than an E36 but the E30 is super light compared to that.

Soooo what do you guys think ? Is the E34 going to be much slower than an E30 making the same power ? (450-500hp)

What are you trying to do? Thats a question you have to ask yourself, I know tons of people that put a big old turbo on there car and only punch it on the on ramp to the freeway. If your just going to do some casual street driving, which ever one you like driving more id say.

I'd pick the one that you don't use for daily driving.

Mostly 1/4 mile races and roll races. I'm worried about how the car will fare against competitors with the same power

Do you reckon there'll be much of a difference between the two? performance wise ? At stock power the E30 is much faster than the E34

For 1/4 mile races I would assume that the E30 would be the quickest of the 2 indeed, just because lighter. Going for top-speed I'd be more comfortable in an E34 though.
I've driven both quickly, but not 500hp-quickly..
