Help with N62 timing chains

Helping a friend with a N62 motor from a 2004. Basically the alternator seal leaked bad and drained all the oil. I fixed that up but I believe it caused other damage. Car ran terrible after that.

I am getting misfires on cylinder 5,6,7,8. As well as
P0348 CPS Sensor A bank 2
P0393 CPS Sensor B bank 2
P1059 VVT Bank 2

I did a compression test and bank 1 all four were 170-180. Bank 2, all were 120ish

My thought is it stretched the chain on the drivers side when it dumped out all the oil. Does that make sense?

I have done several chains on M62 engines and have the tools but little info on the N62. Anybody have a DIY or tips? I realize i will have to buy some specialized tools for the N62.

got my 2006/e53, 4.4l, N62 parked due to loose timing chain/rattle. Looking for any DIY/threads/videos for reference/help. Got the N62 timing set up tool on order.
1. got multiple random misfires when COLD, and MIL set.
2. No codes/misfires in warmer temps, NO MIL.
3. Always ran 5w-30 synthetic and regular oil service/filter
4. 145K on the odometer.
5. Valve stem seals done by dealer at 120K.
wondering if anyone has thoughts/experience on changing chains & guides in addition to the two/2 tensioners???

any help/comments would be appreciated.
