Ok dipstick on left without tube to ccv. Goes into tube on right? Or is that another dipstick? It's cut off at the top of picture. (Makes me think it's another dipstick). So it looks like the peice that's most likely to fail or separate causing a leak would be at that o ring that seats correct?

Yes exactly....once it's unbolted from the intake manifold, it just pulls straight out....be prepared for a little oil spillage unless you drained your pan for an oil change etc. On my M3 I actually had to add another offset bracket in order for the tube to mount square...not sure what they bent when they did the SC install, but bottom line, make sure the tube mounts square so the o-ring can do its thing. Push down a little while you're tightening it back up on the bracket too.

The dipstick tube is bolted to the rear intake manifold support bracket with a 10mm bolt. And like he said...remove that bolt and the tube from the cyclone delegator. Then it pulls right out

With a new oring the dipstick tube should pop/click when inserted fully.

The only way I know this is because I reinstalled the dipstick tube and did not fully seat it (yet it still bolted up to the intake mani just fine). I only realized a year later. Result is that I was running almost 2 quarts over the full line on the dipstick (oops). Engine was fine though.
Ok. So after starting the car my asc light came on. I do remember leaning on it and hearing a pop. I inspected it and didn't notice anything. I tried to actuate the throttle body bellcrank and it would not budge. Plus on the anything cable the front side of the adjuster that mounts to the bracket is missing (picture #2). The cable just hangs in there. I noticed that before and was going to addressit. Now I guess I have to. Once again the bellcrank is stuck and will not budge at all. I tried to find a part number with no luck.
