what is the highest charge for dings and scratches when return leased car?

I will return my leased car in a couple of weeks. There are a couple of scratches on the front and back bumpers. and there is 2 dents on the door. Everything else is fine because I changed the tires only 6 months ago.

I read posts here and your previous experience seems to be that BMW will let it pass if I enter into a new lease or buy a new car from them.

However, I'm told today that the dealership has no say in this. The dealership will lease the car and the BMW financing will check the car.

If I don't get the examination before I enter into a new lease, BMW financing will send me a bill after they check it up, and that bill could be very high. In other words, BMW financing and the dealership are going to function separately without letting me walk away with the scratches and dings and dents.
