Problem with bmw 320 e46. Please help!

Hi everyone, just joined the forum in hope somebody can shed some light on this issue that has been happening for months now and seems to be getting worse!

Usually it happens when I've been driving and stop the engine then restart it, nothing happens.. after about 10 mins it magically starts up again!

However since yesterday it is happening after not been in use a whole night. Today I cant get it to start at all.

Welcome!

The first thing to check is the fuel pump. There's a valve that looks like a tire valve under the top plastic cover. The pressure must be at least 45psi.

If it's not 45psi, the pump is suspect. When was the fuel filter last changed?
