Put me down for the interior in your OP, only thing is I have a parchment interior... And I don't think replacing the leather on my door panel with the fabric would make much sense, it's hard to say if it would help the seats suit the rest of the interior.

I guess I could always collect black interior bits and do a conversion eventually, having the material for black panels.... Or use a dye, I'm not sure, but one thing I do know is I absolutely need that OP interior on my seats!

I have the same issue being parchment. I think I am going to start dyeing some pieces since I already have black front seats (Recaros SRDs).

If there is no deposit or 100% commitment, I would say I am interested. I need to peruse my interior and see what I expect to redo and I'll post back with how much I'll need sometime this weekend.

I have this in my M5 and am looking to put in a track seat with the same fabric. How much would I need to do that?

Sorry I have been slow to update (have been recovering from surgery), it looks like there is reasonable demand for this fabric, so we will see what happens. We just got another awesome fabric in that we will likely be reproducing first but I think we will try to make this happen. Really depends on what the minimum quantity ordered could be, M rain had to be ordered in quite a high quantity, if we can do a smaller quantity of this then I see no reason to not go forward with it. The factory we were working with on M tech that gave us promise for doing this in a smaller quantities ended up not being as good as we thought... have run into some problems with the M tech and may be avoiding this factory in the future and we still have a decent amount of M rain left so I am hesitant to want to order as much Hurricane as we did of the Rain. But this is probably my personal favorite fabric, so if there is a way to do it I will get it done

We are moving forward with production and this will be the next fabric released. I estimate another 4-6 weeks until production is finalized and completed, usually another week after that for foam application then up to 2 weeks for shipping from Europe to arrive here. I am shooting for it to be ready to be shipped to customers at the end of October. Will keep everyone updated as it goes along. Prices will be the same as M rain and I will probably match M Rain's current sales price for an introductory period on the M Hurricane.

I have the gray in my 95 Euro M5.
It would be great to have the ability to get some more in Black or Gray.

    Things are happening...

Pictured above is the first picture I've received of our M Hurricane reproduction. Soon I will have many more high resolution pictures, including comparison pictures to OEM fabric.

Pattern looks right but I think some colors may be in the wrong spot... will do more investigating once I have more pictures and samples in hand. Looking to have it available before the end of the year

I noticed "blue, purple, red" in the original pattern, together with the blue on top and to the right..then realized that yes, that's what you have here if the photo is turned upside down, lol..

But the lighting is playing tricks on the shade between the black/dark and the grey of the "hurricane" background. This just a low quality photo.. I think it might be a good match!

No need to be down for anything... when it is done, I will order it and it will be available at www.bmwfabric.com - no preorder list or anything. Still hoping to stick to my original target deadline of shipping to customers by the end of October, right now just waiting on the samples to get to me and as long as there aren't too many changes that need to be made it should be ready by then.

As with M rain it will all come with foam backing, but most opting to do headliners actually choose the material without foam backing. I will have some without foam backing available for a limited time.

M rain also appears slightly differently colored depending on how light hits it, so I suspect the colors may be correct in the Hurricane sample but the lighting makes it appear differently. The colors are oriented correctly but it is possible the gray and black in the background are reversed. I have other pictures of the material and in some pictures the background seems correct, in the one posted the black and gray appear to be reversed. Once I have a sample in hand I will be better able to tell if colors are correct and it will not be produced until I have a sample in my hand and verify it is good.

We may eventually make it in gray, but not likely for awhile...

This is the other fabric we are working on... came only on the M8 prototype in this (black) color. We will also have the dark gray which came on the 20 Jahre edition E34 M5.
