Ncs expert problem

Hi my problem with ncs is when i try put my e39 vin number to Fa it says vin is faulty

And also when i try to Rear zcs or whatever from like ike or kombi or ews it opens New Windows which says that coapi error 2000

I have changed almost every file and daten and etc on ncs but still not working

What could be Wrong with it?

What version of NCS and which interface are you using?

Ncs 4. 0.1 if i remember correcly and using inpa cable (works with inpa btw) and also i have galletto cable

NCS 4.0.1 uses EDIABAS v7.*.* which is probably too new for your E39 - try using NCS v3.1.0 with EDIABAS v6.4.7. Also make sure your DATEN files are up to date.

I found ncs expert 3 and I can update that but

How can i update edibas to that 6.4.7

And what about inpa? Do i have to make any modifications on there?

Check which version of EDIABAS you have installed currently - the version information can be found in the first few lines of EDIABAS/Bin/Ediabas.ini (open with Notepad). EDIABAS v6.4.7 was standard with INPA v5.0 and v5.02. If you want to install v6.4.7, rename your current c:\EDIABAS file (EDIABAS7 or EDIABAT?), then install only the EDIABAS component of INPA, which will install to c:\EDIABAS by default.

now i get coapi 1000 and 1100 ecu not covered by detection ike error after i choose IKE ecu to read,

what could be wrong with this?

Have you previously added functions to your vehicle order or has the car been converted from automatic to manual transmission?

No it is automatic there have been installed euro 2 update with SAP and post cat Lambda delete but nothing Else i think

Could that euro 2 update be a problem?

What that fault code in ncs means?

It means that the vehicle order is not consistent with the options fitted to the car.

If the SAP you are referring to works in conjunction with your nav system, I think that it may be causing the car to think the nav system is not the same as the one specified in your vehicle order.

Nooo secondary airpump and this module does not have any nav so i dont think they can do any harm?

Use INPA to read and clear errors in your EWS, KOMBI and IKE. From reading the error files, it appears that there may be a problem with your instrument cluster coding.

Also i noticed that the same errors as in pictures comes when i try to Rear ecu even without any obd cable connected so i dont think that there is any problem with the car

Have you attempted to run a diagnostic using INPA? There are at least 6 different "INPA" cables - if you are using a K+DCAN interface, you will need to have pins 7 & 8 on the OBD end of the cable bridged. If your E39 has the round 20 pin diagnostic port under the hood/bonnet, you should be connecting to that using a 20 pin to 16 pin adapter cable.

Yep i have this k-dcan cable and pin 7 and 8 have been soldered, inpa 5.0.2 is working fine and I can read any module which i tried.

E39 is 12/2000 so there is no round connector under hood

Is there anything anymore which i could try to do?
