    Fake wheel centre caps?

Normally I never buy anything from eBay but my wheel centre caps have seen better days so I decided to buy a "genuine" set off eBay for fairly cheap.

The packaging shows part #51148132375, which should belong to a hood emblem for a 125i (RealOEM), but the actual part itself has #36136783536 stamped onto it, which does belong to the correct part (RealOEM).

    I'm guessing fake, right?

    Hard to believe from e-bay.
Not so much a signature as a cry for help.

Hold on, saw this in a cartoon once...think I can pull it off.
