Buying an M50 swapped ti from AL and having it shipped to TX. Going with navy auto transport for shipping. Still trying to figure the best way to handle payment. Any suggestions?
Just going off of a forum ad, don't know seller and haven't seen car but I really want a swapped ti.
I'll make sure to post the highs and lows of the experience.

I mean it's a great investment. His father owned a diamond mine. He just needs my account # and $3000 to withdraw for travel.
No I was wondering what the best way to handle payment so there is no chance of being swindled.
In 2009, I bought a motor from someone in TX and had him ship to NH ftom a freight terminal local to him to one local to me. On a pallet. Anyway, I split paypal fees with him. I figured paypal was some protection. Not sure how a paypal dispute would have ended up since the deal went through without issue.
If you don't trust him, don't buy the car or go in person and buy it. There will ALWAYS be risk buying a car sight unseen. I've done it tens of times and I send a bank wire transfer then pick up the car. My earlier post was not a joke - a bank wire transfer is how you send money for these sorts of purchases. Paypal has limits on how much money can be sent at one time and 3% fees on the purchase price of a car will be substantial.

A broker is the best way I know to safely handle payment. However there is a cost involved (it's not cheap), but depending on the broker it can be pretty much bulletproof.
Paypal protects themselves. Don't trust them to look out for your interests. I speak from personal experience.
Not so much a signature as a cry for help.
Hold on, saw this in a cartoon once...think I can pull it off.
