First purchased bimmer, first post. Purchased a 09 328 back in Feb from private seller, knew at some point the driverside headlamp cover would need replacing, really pitted from driving on south TX backroads (maybe a smuggling run or two across the rio grande, wouldnt be surprised).
Showing my ignorance here, but can I get by with replacing just the lens cover or do I have to replace the entire assembly? Currently has xenon's with the angle adjuster for the hi-lo beams.
Thanks

If there are lens covers available they can be replaced. A lot of these newer cars do not have aftermarket or replacement lenses available though.
You could just use a headlight restoration kit to at least get some more life out of what you have now. It will require some sanding and buffing/polishing of the lenses but its very simple to do.
