Hey guys, this isn't much of a build thread at the moment. I didn't really have the time to build my car over the winter. And I decided to buy Josh's car, for those of you who know him. Just a few weeks ago I saw that he had posted it for sale. I decided to buy it, it's a well setup car for drifting. And josh did a pretty good job at making the car look good. I plan to drive it as is for a little bit and eventually later this season I plan on building the cage and maybe next winter I will do a engine swap. The car is currently sitting on BC coils with custom spring rates, SLR angle kit, hydro hand brake with secondary wildwood calipers. Stock engine for the most part, power steering cooler and a bunch of other random odds and ends. Josh did all the work to this car prior to me buying it. I plan to keep the Japanese style theme with the car, but it will definitely see a bunch of changes over time.

i remember josh's first event in that thing. i thought it was kinda funny because it was basically bone stock. but he did work. he learned quickly and he shreds now. i love that car.

Couple weeks ago I started going over the whole car, prepping it for its first drift event. Found a busted guibo and shot center support bearing. Replaced that stuff, did full maintanence on the car, checked all nuts and bolts etc.. Made a couple changes to the car aswell. Nothing crazy. Welded some threads to my UUC shifter So I can run a cool ricer shift knobs, made a harness bar, installed some sparco seats and gforce harnesses, and some other stuff. Made it to my first event Saturday, and this car drives so damn good. Josh really had the suspension dialed in. Anyways, on to some pictures.

Those harness bars scare the living crap out of me every time I see one. Get a half back cage man. It's not worth your life or your passengers. Nice car though. I wish i kept my e46 instead of going back to a e36

I did some reinforcing to the harness bar. It's in there temporary anyways until I can get some free time to get it in my shop so I can build one. Plan on sometime in the next few months, it should have a cage In it.

Made a splitter. Mainly to help protect the bumper some. Used UHMW, and attached it to the car with some QA1 rod ends. I use quick disconnect pins for fast removal/installation so it's not a PITA to get it on and off the trailer. Also made a bash bar, and went drifting.

Hard motorsport flares. stock and reliable. just need to do a stock vvti 1jz swap. more power, and still "stock" and reliable. lol

Glad to see some more action on this thread... This car is absolutely gorgeous. Are you gonna be going to Back 2 Basics @ Autocity on the 19th?? I'm hoping to make my e36's maiden voyage for that one.
