a few questions regarding changing spark plugs on a 323i 2007. which plugs are best for this car? what should i change out on the plugs, just plugs, plugs and boot connectors, and or both plus coil? is there a complete set of something i should buy maybe if one of these scenarios are recommended?
ok thanks, one of the sites recommended changing the boots, I would but there hard to find locally hear in Toronto, Canada.
Yeah if you go by what the sites selling parts say, just go ahead and overhaul the entire engine every 5K miles.
OE plugs are your best bet. The BMW engineers specified those plugs. They know what they're doing. I put a bit of copper-based anti-seize compound in the threads. I know what the plug manufacturers and BMW say, but I think it's a good idea when you have dissimilar metals - aluminum and steel - working together. I use a paper towel to work the compound into the thread grooves.
