I'm liking the s369 on paper, rated for 100+lb/min and dirty cheap. Not sure how the response will be

I didn't know that. I know he told me he was spinning hard on the rollers. I'd bet he would be over 900 if he had traction. A 9180 should in theory make mid 900 or so. I know a 467 which is a similar compressor and a 3mm bigger turbine has made over 1000. I have seen stock cast s366's make over 850. Dunno. Nobody beats precision

I was going to get one of those. The diesel guys say it actually spools better than a cast s366. It's the same turbine as an s366 so it will probably be a bit lazy compared to something like a 6870 I would think. I was going to get one but now that I'm going auto I think I will get an s472sxe
Was it spinning above 5500?
Just curious as i have seen graphs of 1k out of a 3.2l 6870 with 500wtq at 4k and im trying to decide.. Between the two.

But now that she's taken care of, house is situated, and baby is set, it's now full steam ahead on getting the car done. Even thought of just getting an sxe369 instead of a 6466 to save money and be done sooner.

Go 6870. I'm starting to debate it myself. But want to see 6466 on steed.

FWIW, I have a 6870 on my car now and its WILD. Very happy. Powerband of a 4094 with earlier boost threshold. The powerband is super usable for a daily even with a 1.15 housing.

"Buy it now"
Go.
yes, although I'm still running soft timing. I have been way too busy, I am still running on a very soft base tune.
We did a 92 octane car on a turbo a bit smaller than this and made 600wtq, I dont think I would suffer much/anything from being on pump at this time. Remember I'm 9.2:1.

What kind of powerband/boost threshold are we talking? I haven't done enough research on the 4094 to be conversant.

EHHHHH.. I can pull the new logs a little later.. The data I remember shows positive pressure before 3k, the gate cracking at <3900 and full boost by ~4200. I would guess it will make any pressure you want by 4500.
Note: this is on a 9.2:1, 3.3L, Hp cover 6870 1.15ar, huge intercooler, 3" piping everywhere. Also, I always forget my vanos is off.
The comment about the powerband comes from my previous 64mm turbo which would literally blow the tires off at 3800 rpm. I would guess the power is nearly the same but since it comes on much more gradually it doesnt immediately rip them loose.
