E36 328ic 94 (Help) Overheating

I just changed the thermostat but its still overheating.
any suggestions?

Have you bled the cooling system correctly? That is likely the issue, if not do a compression test to insure it isn't the headgasket. Then replace all cooling system components. It's a 20 year old car, parts are old and tired, it's best to replace everything to insure reliability
