Hows the color match to the door panel trim piece?
Can we get a pic showing the glovebox with the door closed? Looks great btw - thanks for taking these pics!

Its close, the Euro pieces are a little darker as you can see in the US vs Euro photos, but once installed they are nearly invisible from the passenger's line of sight
Like the 3rd from last photo? As you can see they are close are hard to tell unless your passenger is taking a nap with their head down in your lap

Does anybody know why they made these parts different for US/Euro?
It's been discussed in a few threads.
Long story short (as I understand it) the US safety regulations required a steel plate be added to the lower dash panels to improve unbelted passenger submarining issues on a front end crash. The extra "lumps" in the US spec panels were added to include the 1-1.5" think plate that is placed in these pieces to meet that requirement.
If you in my car you're belted, period. I saw no point to keep the plates in the US spec panels and removed them, then later found a beige Euro spec set that IMO is way better and swapped them out.

nice
couple questions. Do you feel like there is better space in the drivers seat with the smaller kick panel? Did you cut the metal bar or put plastic holes in the top of your glovebox?

For future reference, any part numbers for beige?
Do you have the part number for the driver's side panel by chance?
Not quickly. Just got spec out a Euro 3.0 and it should give you the options for black or beige panels from realoem.com
