A missing piece to the BMW328i convertible

This afternoon, I test drove above titled convertible and while testing it with the top up, realized that there was a part missing in the interior of the roof, just above the night time light switches near the rear view mirror. All I see was three small holes where something can be screwed in but the owner hadn't a clue what it was either. This is a 2011 BMW 328i, on it's second owner.
