Haven't tried Apex. I'm pretty glued to my Xbox. I'm going through my tunes to beat some of y'all times again. What classes do you all usually race in?

Anyone try the Nascar DLC?
Nah, not anything there for me really. Also I think Homestead is probably one of the dullest roval courses I've ever seen, so no incentive there. I think the arrows they added to let you know who's around you are helpful, but if you get too comfortable with them you can miss someone alongside. The drafting vibrations are gonna kill my controller batteries though, haha.

I agree.
The NASCAR dlc wasn't worth it for me, but I gave it a shot. Not a fan of it it in the real world, either, but I had to give it a chance.
Anyone do drifting in rivals at all? I've hit a wall for the past 9 months in skill development, and I can't break through.
'02 M Coupe, Estoril Blue on Estoril
'02 M Coupe, -???-Who knows-???-
‘02 M Coupe, Alpine White on Black
'06 M Coupe, Interlagos Blue/Black Carbon Leather
’99 M3 Coupe, Technoviolet/Black
’04 VW R32, Reflex Silver/Black Cloth
Hit a wall, eh?
I haven't tried drift or drag, just circuit. Throttle control on cars with no aero is as close as I get.
I've been enjoying the multi-class racing quite a bit, so I decided to build/paint some new cars to run with. I had some fun making Michael's Vintage Racing liveries for a number of them:
Abarth 131:
Bugatti EB110:
Brabham BT24:
Ferrari 250LM:
Nissan R382:
Toyota 2000GT:
SRT Viper TF:
Porsche 550 Spyder:
Opel GT:
It's pretty fun! Share any suggestions if you'd like me to try a car. I prefer the cleaner, simpler looks of pre-sponsorship liveries in most cases and vintage racing liveries are free of non-period sponsors, so that's the basic formula I stick to.

That is bad ass.
Check this out... I haven't played GT since the 90's.... this one might actually make me dust off my PS4...that photo mode looks amazing.

trailer looks really good, but the game play is meh, looks twitchy.
I loved GT but my problem was always not being able to mod the cars as much as other games.

I agree. Hopefully this one fixes those problems and makes Turn10 step up their game in the photo editing mode at least.
I've been doing a bit more livery work....
I updated all my liveries with our shop logo and modified a couple at the same time.
I widened the red stripe on the Shelby so it matches the width of the trunk emblem:
I added a stripe to the doors of the EB110 to break up the sides a bit visually:
I did a NART tribute livery on the 365 GTB/4 Daytona, since my Dad worked on the real car:
I also did a Gulf-type livery on the GT40 which I think came out pretty cool:
And finally, I did a pinstripe livery on the Lola T163 that is one of my favorites:

I forgot to post my Lotus Cortina livery last time:
Here are some shots of the real Cortina for comparison:
I also made a livery for the Swedish-liveried Volvo S60 Polestar for the current league. Unfortunately the only race I've been able to connect to in Pinnacle saw everybody quit...but hopefully I'll use it soon!
I wasn't convinced of the design at the rear, but it was a tough area to finish up I felt. Any thoughts?

I also jumped on that deal for the Porsche pack dlc for $10. I love those cars so much and VIR is a nice welcome as well.
ELVA, I have to get those designs. Drool.

I finished some designs for a few more cars!
I won my first race in the Eagle-Weslake T1G, so I thought I'd start there:
I also used the Chaparral 2E for the first time in a while and wanted to put it back in the rotation, so I spent some time on a design for it:
Finally, I decided to do the Honda RA300 as my Brabham will be at max affinity soon and I'll have to move on:

Nice!
Side note, the Eagle is a horrible pig and it makes me so sad. I've put a fair amount of time into tuning it, but it must just be too heavy/long compared to the other '60s F1 cars.

I bet its killer in a straight line tho....
I wish i had more time in a day. My wife, kids, & career just takes up too much time. I have a long way to go I'm only at %10 in career mode... I wish Apex saves could transfer to the xbone... My office desk top has a killer GPU....and I have a lot of conference calls & webinars lol lots of time to kill.

Haha, that would be nice.
I did make progress on the Eagle. Stiffened the springs, removed some camber, adjusted gear ratios and tire pressures, messed with the diff a bit, and it appears to have calmed the car down quite a bit. It's still quite a handful though...
To celebrate making the T1G handle less like a horrible pig, I decided to paint the Lotus 49 which completes the list of '60s F1 cars I believe:

I've been running the 2E lately and the design felt a bit unfinished. I decided to take another look at it, and I added some more yellow highlights. I've colored the headlight covers and the center engine cover, and I ran a yellow stripe down the rear. On a more detail-oriented note, I cleaned up the edges of the decals around the front fender air exits.
The old design for comparison:
