I don't want to talk about it, lol. I have 2 6an lines from the fuel tank to the FPR, one from the FPR to rail, the AN steam vent kit, the 4 12an lines go all the way to the trunk, and a 20an hose in the trunk. I think I have an AN fetish, lol.
Nothing bad happened, sending the manifold out for hydrodipping and the heads out for some upgrades.
Some parts started showing up
Yellow tag rack (13.7:1 ZHP) vs my old one (15.4:1)
P/S fluid cooler mounted to it's bracket I made
Rack and Cooler installed
Nothing quite like cutting up your new fancy 1/4 panels!
Mocked up on the car, getting close to riveting them on.
Radiator back in, need to order a new WP mount from Meziere
Is the ZHP rack still that progressive crap?

looks good!
cutting those CF quarters had to have taken some sack tho. i can't even imagine.

Progressive crap? I've never heard anything about that. I just wanted the quicker ratio.

I just know the ZHP Rack is quicker then mine (3.0 lock to lock) and there's also something different about the pinion gear torsion bar that gives a better feel. The Z4 rack is even faster (like 12.8) but I think you have to run rack spacers or something to fit it in to an E46

It really wasn't too bad, I actually did it with tin snips so it was slow and controlled haha.
Late 90s, bmw swapped to progressive racks. The steering is quicker on the outsides of the rack and slower in the middle. It's for highway driving so a little movement doesn't put you into another lane.

So it'll look like your car is wearing CF pants.

Now repair going to cost $$$$$ instead of $$

at this point the only panels that aren't CF are the doors, fenders, and roof. Doozer makes a CF roof with no sunroof hole which I thought about, but changing roof skins is a little out of my ballpark I'm afraid.

it was like a $100 difference between fiberglass and carbon
Might you happen to know off hand who makes the cheapest fiberglass e36 body parts since you've been shopping recently?
Can I have some money? I just need enough to fix my broken FG panels lol.
