Don't know if there's already a thread on this (search doesn't work well on mobile). But I have several questions regarding switching to aluminum door panels. The car is a daily driven 99 M3 that sees occasional autoX and other things of that sort. Why I'm doing this if you're asking, I'm simply tired of fixing the crappy panels that come with this car so I want to go with aluminum. Also the car is a daily so I kind if want the tweeters in the panel, I've seen one panel with them in. But as of right now my car has no vapor shield (is it really necessary with the aluminum panels?) or door panels. Just everything bare. I'm sort if looking to make my own but if someone can make something similar to what I want, then id do that to save myself some trouble. But some stuff listed out just. To make it easier.
1. How hard is making the panels?
2. Is the vapor shield necessary?
3. Do I have to make the panel any different to fit the tweeters?
4. What should I do about the side airbags?
5. If I do need vapor wrap, how do I go about putting on with the flat panel?

Any other concerns I should have?
Sort of what I'm going for
