Hi.. I'm glad I found this forum. I love my BMW 2 door .. What I don't love is going to BMW and service dept told me I need a brake system flush. Is this necessary? lol.. It's not under warranty so cost are on me for everything. It has 92,000 miles and running fine. Just had oil change and inspection. Thoughts on Brake system flush please... Cost is $79.95 out the door

Nah, never ever do it.. Don't even change your oil... While your at it put some magnets around the fuel line... Glad you found this forum.. Try googling brake flush... Come to your own conclusion. If you can't, do the flush.Originally Posted by Sunnysings

Funny how "frugal" some owners get when their car goes out of warranty. If they can't see what they're getting for their $$$, they think it's a ripoff. It's called routine maintenance; if you let the small stuff go and not do the basic maintenance, your car will turn into a turd in no time. BMW requires regular maintenance... if you can't afford it, buy a Jap car....they are cheap and disposable
