Visiting LA, looking for automotive sight seeing recomendations...

Visiting LA next week just wanted to see if anyone could recommend so roads to drive on like they ones that Motor Trend uses in Canyons etc

Or any good car hangouts or gatherings in downtown LA area.

Will have sometime to cruise around at night. Any foodie stops that you can recommend as well? LOL

Thanks in Advance fellow Bimmer Enthusiasts!

Check out Newcomb's ranch on the Angeles Crest Highway(ACH), the Rock Store on Mulholland (aka the snake), and the Supercar Sunday in woodland hills. Watch out for cops and bikers, stay in your lane. Head up the canyon on weekdays or early weekend mornings to avoid traffic.

In addition to Mulholland and ACH, virtually every car mag and manufacturer does highway 74 - starts in south OC and heads east to Palm Desert.

Make sure to go to Malibu and enjoy the canyon roads. Here is a good map of some of the best roads:

While you're out there, make sure to head to Neptune's Net on Pacific Coast Highway for great food - it's also a famous car meet up and was in the 1st Fast and Furious movie.

Also, try to check out the Peterson Auto Museum in Los Angeles.

    As for food:

Golden Road Brewery in Glendale/Los Angeles area
Bachi Burger in Old Town Pasadena
Philipe's (Famous French Dip Sandwiches) by Union Station in Downtown LA
    Takami Sushi in Downtown LA
The Boiling Crab in Korea Town
King Taco in East Los Angeles for Mexican Food
Johnny's Pastrami in West Los Angeles
Hurry Curry in West Los Angeles

    Just to name a few.

+1 for all the canyon roads up in the Malibu mountains. Mulholland highway is a must.

Also IIRC supercar sunday on the 7th is Mclaren day - that should be very cool
