Thinking of buying an 2001 E39 540i, need advice

Selling for $14k, 40k miles, manual.

One owner and a clean CARFAX. Seems fully loaded and also has a DINAN package. This will be my first BMW and I'd like something cheaper that won't give me trouble as long as I maintain it properly. I was looking at the 335i coupe in the 30k range before, but the 540i caught my eye.

Is this worth it and is there anything I should be worried about not covered by http://www.540i6.com/

That seems like a lot for a non-M E39. That is decent M5 money nowadays. Being a 2001 it isn't even an M-sport... price seems way out of line to me even with the Dinan stuff. If its supercharged the price might be more reasonable

Thanks for the advice. The dealer told me they already have a buyer so I'm going to wait and see, but it probably won't happen.
