Oh believe me I'm aaaaaaalllllll in for the last V10's. Actually, the V10's from early 90's are also welcomed!
This little quick video is one of my favourites.
I'll see your Renault V10 dyno vid, and I'll raise you one Ferrari V12 vid:
I mean, good Lord. I remember hearing that sound tearing around Monaco the time I was fortunate enough to attend a quali session back in '94... It makes your hair stand on end.

V12 has absolutely no contest. Thing is, there's not much point in making a V12 small enough to not make 1500hp with modern technology (and no rev limits).
I'm all for free configuration from 6-12 cylinders, but no less than that. Since the other regulations would try to aim for an end result of less than 1000hp or thereabouts, the teams would probably all go for 6-cylinder engines, if the capacity is allowed to be at leat 2.4 litres.
A NA 6-pot would sound a lot better than V8s. If not 6-cyl then rather V10s.

All in.
Well, there hasn't been an even remotely modern, super-high-revving V12 so there is no Youtube clip to use in a comparison.
These might be the closest thing we've got, and they aren't anywhere near what a modern F1 engine would sound like because they have bigger displacement and much lower rev limits:

I thought there was ..... or was it not?
Max made the race worth watching. The then Merc fiasco. Highly entertaining race.
Yeah, me too. Between 2001 and 2004 we used to get together with a few friends for every race. Fans of different teams and pilots. We never got in fight, but we regularly got drunk. And the neighbors def. Then I had the chance to visit 08 Canada GP with a friend (even worse die hard BMW fan than I am) and we had the chance to witness the BMW Sauber 1-2. For the second half of the race we were frantically waving the BMW flag just and Kubica accelerating just a few feet from us on its way out of T10.
